You are receiving this email because we have you on our list as a constituent of David Eby, MLA, you received a ticket for our previous townhall meeting May 1, and you have added your name to the waitlist for our Housing Townhall on June 4th.

We want to make you aware of two options:

1)      By placing yourself on the waitlist for the June 4th Housing Townhall with David Eby, MLA, you have indicated your interest in discussing the overall topic of housing and the housing crisis, and you are available on from 6:30-8:30PM at 4500 Arbutus Street (Hellenic Hall). This email confirms that you will be issued a ticket for the event. You will receive a separate email from Eventbrite with tickets to print and bring to the event for entry.

2)      The West Point Grey Residents Association is having an event entirely about the increase in school tax on high value homes on May 27th at Jericho Hill Gymnasium from 2:00-4:30PM.  They are not issuing tickets, but it is a large space and it is our understanding that they have opened up the event for all residents of the Vancouver Point Grey riding (Point Grey, Kits, UEL, and UBC).  David Eby is planning to attend this event to speak briefly, then stay and listen.  This is an alternative venue for people to interact with him for those who are exclusively focused on opposing the high value homes taxation measures in place for 2019.

Kind Regards,

David Eby’s Office

This is truly is devastating for renters and students . Gregor doing a great job of further marginalizing the fabric of our community.
